The Facility
-
Pinnacle Fieldhouse Training Academy was established in Stratford, Ontario in 2018, when Jason Baier repurposed a portion of warehouse space on Romeo Street into a year-round multi-sport training centre.
Working alongside community support groups from local baseball/soccer associations, the team transformed the building into a dedicated indoor turf, and athletic development facility designed to give Stratford-area athletes a high-quality space to train during all seasons.
With support from local sports teams and dedicated staff, PFTA provides winter training, clinics, and development programs, quickly becoming an important hub for off-season skill work in the region.
As demand grew, PFTA continued to expand its offerings, adding a synthetic-ice hockey and goalie-training area, batting cages, a strength and conditioning space, and later a full pickleball and tennis centre.
In 2018, PFTA also became the first indoor home of the Stratford Pickleball Association, helping the sport grow rapidly in the city. Over the years, the facility has evolved into a 40,000 sq. ft. multi-sport performance environment that supports athletes of all ages—through leagues, lessons, camps, team rentals, and open play.
Today, Pinnacle Fieldhouse stands as a major contributor to Stratford's athletic community, known for its versatility, development-focused programs, and commitment to providing high-quality indoor training year-round.
